When we say Windows XP, this is an operation system produced by Microsoft for use on personal computers, including home and business desktops, laptops, and media centers and other related things here.
We all know that Windows XP is the successor to both Windows 2000 and Windows Me, and is the first consumer-oriented operating system produced by Microsoft to be built on the Windows NT kernel and architecture. The XP was released for retail sale on October 25, 2001, and over 400 million copies were in use in January 2006 and this analysis was according to IDC analyst.
From yesterday's announcement, according to Microsoft, the Windows XP has extended his life again by allowing downgrades to it from Windows 7 until 2020 and this sounds great to all Windows XP users like me.
This extended downgrage rights applies only to those who buy Windows 7 professional and Ultimate. This means that, it allows people to replace their newer version Windows with an older one, without having to pay for two copies.
This stability continues to haunt Microsoft because a lot of businesses would like to have an upgrage from it.
